1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using ChartWise ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
ChartWise is a personal data tracking application that allows users to:
- Create custom trackers for any metric
- Log data points with values and notes
- Visualize data through charts and statistics
- Set and track goals
- Display widgets on their device home screen
- Optionally backup data to the cloud (premium feature)
3. User Accounts
The App can be used without creating an account. All data is stored locally on your device by default. If you choose to create an account for cloud backup features:
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must provide accurate information
- You are responsible for all activities under your account
4. Subscription and Payments
ChartWise offers a free tier and a premium subscription:
- Free tier includes all core tracking features with ads
- Premium subscription removes ads and enables cloud backup
- Subscriptions are billed through Google Play or Apple App Store
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
- Refunds are subject to the respective app store policies
5. User Content
You retain ownership of all data you create within the App. You are solely responsible for the content you create and store. ChartWise does not access, review, or modify your personal tracking data.
6. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Distribute malware or harmful code through the App
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. ChartWise is not a medical device and should not be used for medical diagnosis or treatment.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChartWise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of the App.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or email.
